How Does It Work?
Shareholders receive a weekly delivery of freshly harvested, seasonal organic vegetables for 22 weeks, starting early June and finishing late October. The weekly share will average 8-9 items with one share generally providing vegetables enough for two adults with two children. Weekly farm newsletters will keep you in touch with share items for the week, recipes, and farm activities.
For those who want a bit less produce, we suggest that you find a friend, neighbor, family member, or coworker to be your share partner. The easiest way to split the share is to take turns with your partner, each picking up your shared CSA box every other week. Call it your every-other-week CSA! If you cannot find a share partner, please click here to fill out our Share Partner Request Form, and we will try to help.

What do I get?
View This Week’s Share to see this season’s shares. Members will receive a wide variety of vegetables including most or all of the following: Baby Lettuce Mix, Arugula, Mesclun, Spinach, Kale, Swiss Chard, Collards, Head Lettuce (Redleaf, Greenleaf, Boston, Romaine), Scallions, Red and Yellow Onions, Leeks, Garlic, Sweet Potato, Turnip, Radish, Beets, Carrots, Celeriac, Potatoes (Red, Fingerling, Yellow, and White Flesh), Cabbage, Broccoli, Bok Choi, Chinese Cabbage, Green Beans, Sugarsnap and Snow Peas, Cucumbers, Summer Squash, Zucchini, Winter Squash (Acorn, Buttercup, Butternut, Delicata, Sweet Dumpling), Tomato, Tomatillos, Eggplant, Sweet Peppers, Fennel, Sweet Corn, as well as Herbs, Watermelons, and Cantaloupe.
How do egg and fruit shares work?
We will be offering an egg share that includes 1 dozen eggs each week for the entire 22-week season. The eggs are from Sparkling Meadow Farms where the hens are raised organically and are kept on pasture where they can eat grass and bugs, take dust baths, and strut!
The fruit share comes from local farmers. This year, the fruit share will be 2 weeks of local blueberries. Due to several logistic considerations, this is the amount of fruit we can offer this season. Our weekly newsletter will announce when it is a fruit share week.
Are vegetables available during the winter months?
Each year, we intend to offer to both CSA and non-CSA members a Winter Vegetable Box for up to three pick up dates. For example, there might be two dates in November and one date in December. Each box will contain root crops (potatoes, celeriac, sweet potatoes, carrots, and beets), winter squash, along with leeks, kale, and onions. The winter box in November and December will weigh approximately 35 lbs., price TBD. We distribute these boxes to a limited number of distribution sites, similar to the CSA.
Are working shares available?
Any CSA shareholder wishing to volunteer at the farm is very welcome. We also offer a limited number of working shares that give a $50 discount in exchange for a total of 8 hours of work at the farm. Please call us in advance of completing your membership agreement form for availability.
