Dear Denison Farm CSA Members,
I am sending out this test email before the season gets underway to try out our new system. We are very busy and even busier on days when the sun actually shines. But nonetheless, this cold and rainy Spring has set us back a bit. Here are the updates as of today Saturday May 28th:
1. We are hoping for Wednesday June 8th/Saturday June 11th to be the first distribution for the CSA 2011 season. I will send out another email update next week confirming the first date and providing you with details along with the Site Address for your pick-up.
2. Please check Facebook, your email, and our new website (denisonfarm.com)for all updates and news throughout the season. On our website, click on the category Membership and then on the sub-category Current Notices.
Most of the information that you will need for participating in the CSA will be on our website - work share guidelines, recipes, archived newsletters, Winter Box sign-up in late September, the handling of the box and how to break it down for recycling, Member Handbook, and much more.
3. If you are a member, you do not need to sign up for the newsletter - you will receive one each week. If you don't please let me know immediately.
4. Please put our email address in your email address book - especially those of you using Earthlink and Verizon. Emails often bounce back from those two accounts.
